Funeral services were held at the Ebenezer Baptist Church Friday, Sept. 1, at 3 p.m. with the Rev. Earl Marr and the Rev. V. L. Prewitt officiating. Interment was in the Ebenezer Cemetery under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Mavis H. Braud and Mrs. Irene Salter, both of Florien; five sisters, Mrs. Tera Tayer, Mrs. Hattie Youngblood, Mrs. Ada Bell Lowe and Miss Bertie Mae Taylor, all of Florien and Mrs. Emily Dickey of Hemphill; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were James R. Cook, Judge John S. Pickett, Jr., Douglas Youngblood, Louis Fraser, Edward Prince and Louis Youngblood.
