Funeral services were held Thursday, Dec. 7, at 2 p.m., at the Antioch Baptist Church, with the Rev. Harold Dunn officiating, and Wilton Anthony, and the Rev. Wayne Reeves assisting. Interment was in the Antioch Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Pallbearers were J. B. Salter, M. G. Anthony, Howard Anthony, Bob Cook, Judge John Pickett, Jr., and Kenneth Dew. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Myrtie Hopkins of Many; one daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Ann Parker of La Place; two brothers, Howard Hopkins of Many, and Glen Hopkins of Groves, Tex.; and two sisters, Mrs.Gladys Dubose of Many, and Mrs. Ruby Duggan of Grand Prarie, Tex.; and two grandchildren.
