Glen Marr of Fisher. The funeral was under direction Warren funeral home with military rites at the graveside. Surviving relatives include: parents, Mr. and Mrs. Homer Hopkins, Florien; brothers, Malcolm Hopkins, Baton Rouge, Robert Hopkins, Florien; sister, Mrs. Robert Cook, and Mrs. Joan Hopkins (sic); both of Florien; grandparents Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Durrett, Florien, Mrs. Eliza Hopkins, of Mansfield. Sgt. Hopkins was graduated from Mt. Carmel High School in 1943 and enlisted in the army soon after. He served in Germany during World War II and had been in Korea a month before he was killed.
