All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** ** Thomas Hopkins Thomas Jefferson (Jeff) Hopkins, 84, died in the Many Clinic, Friday, Oct. 8, at 6 a.m., after an extended illness. Surviving relatives include two sons, Hardy A. Hopkins Sr. of West Monroe, and J. K. Hopkins of Baton Rouge; four daughters, Myrtle Moore of Athens, Willie Horn, and Jackye Prewitt of Florien, and Avadel Knippers of Anacoco; three sisters, Laura Owens, and Lola Owens of Many, and Maude Pilcher of Shreveport; 11 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren. Funeral services were held at the Antioch Baptist Church, Saturday, Oct. 9, at 2 p.m., with the Rev. Don Nunley officiating. Interment was in the Antioch Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Pallbearers were the Deacons of the Antioch Baptist Church.
