Hubley, 90, died on Wednesday, August 5, 1987, at 12:05 p.m., at Heritage Manor Nursing Home. Services were held at St. John Catholic Church, on Friday, Aug. 8, at 11:30 a.m., with Father Kenneth Williams, and Msgr. Norman Buvens officiating. Burial was at St. John Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cleve Hubley; son, Walter Earl Hubley; daughter, Winfred Duke; and three grandchildren, C. J. Hubley III, Jerry Don Hubley, and Jackie Blanda. Survivors included five sons, C. J. Hubley of Arcadia, Calif., Charles Hubley of Port Arthur, Tex., Cleveland Hubley of Tyler, Tex., Jack Hubley of Alexandria, La., and Gene Hubley of Many; six daughters, Freda Guidry of Lafayette, Hazel Yarborough of Baton Rouge, Helen Dowden of Natchitoches, Anna Frances Grembowiec of Houston, Tex., Jo Miller of Linden, Tex., and Lynna Hubley of Los Angeles, Calif.; 24 grandchildren; 43 great grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren. Pallbearers were grandsons, Dr. Max Yarborough, Dr. Conway Yarborough, Paul Guidry, Dean Dowden, Jimmy Dowden, Dr. Grover Hubley, Jim Hubley, Ronnie Duke, Walker Duke, Alan Grembowiec, Gene Grembowiec, David Hubley, and Carl Miller.
