C. J. Hubley Jr.

  Funeral services for C. J. Hubley Jr., 86, of Arcadia, Calif.,
were held Saturday, Dec. 14, 1996, at 10 a.m., at Holy Angels
Catholic Church in Arcadia. Officiating was Father Norm.
Interment was at Rose Hill Cemetery in Arcadia.

  Mr. Hubley died Wednesday, Dec. 11, at a retirement home in
Arcadia. He was born Jan. 10, 1910. He graduated at St. John's
Catholic School, and was the first manager of the Sabine Theatre.

  He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. J.
Hubley Sr., both of Many; his wife, Florence Oaks Hubley of
Arcadia, Calif.; one son, Jerry Don Hubley, also of Arcadia.

  He is survived by one daughter, Gail Hubley of Long Beach,
Calif.; five sisters, Freda Guidry of Layfette, Hazel Yabrough of
Baton Rouge, Anna Frances Miller of Grambowiec? of Houston, Jo
Miller of Linden, Texas, and Lynna Hubley of Glendale, Calif.;
three brothers, Cleveland Hubley of Tyler, Texas, Jack Hubley of
Alexandria, and Gene Hubley of Many.
