Vera F. Pitcher Hippler

  Vera F. Pilcher Hippler, 81, of Deweyville, Texas died Thursday,
Feb. 24, 2000 at Memorial Herman Baptist Orange Hospital in Orange,
Texas.

  Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 26 at Dorman
Funeral Home in Orange, Texas with interment following at Antioch
Cemetery in Buna, Texas. The Rev. Chase Bowers officiated.

  Hippler was a homemaker. She was a native and former resident of
Sabine Parish. She lived in Deweyville 50 years.

  Survivors include one son, Emmitt Hippler, Jr. of Coldspring,
Texas; three daughters, Carol Thompson and Faye Bowers both of
Deweyville, Texas and Barbara Lambeth of Alvin, Texas; one sister,
Vernon Anderson of Many; five grandchildren; and seven great
grandchildren.
