Hippler of Zwolle, died Thursday, May 13, at 12:45 p.m., at Fraser Hospital North, due to an extended illness. He was 71. Funeral services were held Sunday, May 16, at 2 p.m., at Beulah Baptist Church, with Rev. Raymond Mayfield, and Rev. Freddie Hippler officiating. Interment was at Beulah Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Mr. Hippler is survived by his widow, Mrs. Arcel Hippler of Zwolle; two sons, Jim Hippler of Richmond, Tex., and Leon Hippler of Bossier City; six daughters, Mrs. Hazel Wrobleski of Buffalo, N. Y., Mrs. Shirley Freeman of Liberty, Maine, Mrs. Melva Hayes of Hayes, La., Mrs. Wanda Barrett of Atlanta, Tex., Mrs. Virginia Orfillo of Pearl River, La., and Mrs. Tommie McDaniel of Grand Cane, La.; a step son, David Padgett of Killeen, Tex.; four step daughters, Miss Norma Bliss of Converse, Mrs. Beverly Ezernack of Many, Miss Dorris Bliss of Barrington, New Hampshire, Miss Michelle Bliss of Zwolle; a sister, Allie B. Herndon of Longview, Tex.; five brothers, E. E. Hippler of Deweyville, Tex., D. E. Hippler of Longview, Tex., T. S. Hippler Jr. of Robeline, J. C. Hippler of Longview, and J. R. Hippler Sr. of Many; 27 grandchildren; five step grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
