She was born Dec. 13, 1932, in Sabine Parish. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 27, at Friendship Church of Nazarene, with interment following at Friendship Cemetery. The Rev. Daniel Mappus, The Rev. H. H. Tibbitts, The Rev. Jim Armstrong, and the Rev. J. D. Brown officiated. Survivors include her daughter, Sheila R. Brown and husband John Daniel of Elm Grove; son, David S. Hippler and wife Judy, Robeline; six sisters, Lucille Hippler and Bonnie Layfield, both of Many, Jean Merritt and Voncille Pilcher, both of Hemphill, Texas, and Myrtle Randolph and Verna Richardson, both of Many; three grandsons, Christopher D. Brown and wife Tiffany of Oak Grove, and Josh Hippler and David Shane Hippler, both of Many; granddaughter, Mira B. Magee and husband Brian Mark of Elm Grove; three great grandchildren, Montana Magee, Montgomery Magee, and Alexis L. Brown, all of Elm Grove.
