Officiating was Rev. Daniel Mappus, and Rev. Freddie Hippler. Burial was held in Friendship Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Mr. Hippler died Saturday, August 21, 1993, at 10:06 a.m., in V. A. Hospital in Shreveport. He is survived by his wife, Annie Faye Hippler of Robeline; one son, David Sanders Hippler and wife Judy of Robeline; one daughter, Sheila Brown and husband Dan of Elm Grove; one sister, Allie Herndon of Longview, Tex.; four brothers, Emmitt Hippler of Deweyville, Tex., Don E. Hippler of Longview, Tex., J. C. Hippler of Longview, Tex., and J. R. Hippler of Many; four grandchildren, Mira and husband Brian Magee, Christopher Brown, David Shane Hippler, and Joshua Wade Hippler. Pallbearers were Billy Don Herndon, John H. Thompson, Stanley R. Hippler, Rodney Randolph, Gillus McDaniel, Randy Layfield, and Bob Richardson.
