Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., Thursday, Nov. 12, at Dorman Funeral Home, with interment following at Antioch Cemetery in Buna. Mr. Hippler was a former service station owner of stations in Deweyville, Texas, and Toledo Bend. Survivors include his widow, Vera Hippler of Deweyville, Texas; three daughters, Carol Thompson, and Faye Bowers, both of Deweyville, Texas, and Barbara Lambeth of Alvin, Texas; three brothers, Don Hippler, and J. C. Hippler, both of Longview, Texas, and J. R. Hippler of Many; one sister, Allie Herndon of Longview; five grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren. Dorman Funeral Home, Orange, Texas.
