Mr. Emmitt Evander Hippler

  Mr. Emmitt Evander Hippler, 84, a longtime resident of
Deweyville, Texas, died Monday, Nov. 9, at Home Away From Home in
the Forest Heights addition of Orange County.

  Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., Thursday, Nov. 12, at
Dorman Funeral Home, with interment following at Antioch Cemetery
in Buna.

  Mr. Hippler was a former service station owner of stations in
Deweyville, Texas, and Toledo Bend.

  Survivors include his widow, Vera Hippler of Deweyville, Texas;
three daughters, Carol Thompson, and Faye Bowers, both of
Deweyville, Texas, and Barbara Lambeth of Alvin, Texas; three
brothers, Don Hippler, and J. C. Hippler, both of Longview,
Texas, and J. R. Hippler of Many; one sister, Allie Herndon of
Longview; five grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
