Hippler Sr., 82, of Many, died in Longview, Tex., Sept. 7, as the result of an automobile accident. Surviving relatives include his wife, Mrs. Thomas Hippler of Many; seven sons, N. B. Hippler of Shreveport, Emmitt, Coleman, Thomas Jr., and Raymond, all of Many, Dan E., and J. C. of Longview; a daughter, Mrs. D. M. Herndon of Longview; a brother, Henry Hippler of Many; a sister, Mrs. E. B. Carter of Gaston, Tex.; 31 grandchildren; and 33 great grandchildren. Funeral services were held at Beulah Baptist Church, Sept. 9, with the Rev. Shipman, the Rev. Gerald Roberts, the Rev. Paul Sullivan, and the Rev. W. H. Mitchell officiating. Burial was in the Beulah Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home of Many. The pallbearers were James Hippler, Van Hippler, Emmitt Hippler Jr., Billy Don Herndon, Stanley Hippler, Clinton Hippler, David Hippler, and Michael Herndon.
