E. A. Hubier, Jr.

  Graveside services for Mr. E. A. Hubier, Jr., 70, of Converse,
were held at 3 p.m., Thursday, September 10, at the Converse
Cemetery, under the direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home in
Mansfield, La. The Rev. Bob Miller officiated.

  Mr. Hubier died Wednesday, September 9, 1987, at DeSoto General
Hospital in Mansfield, after a lengthy illness.

  Mr. Hubier was preceded in death by his wife, Lura Tatum Hubier.

  He is survived by one son, Charles R. Hubier of Mansfield; two
daughters, Carolyn H. Brown of Natchitoches, and Marilyn H.
Waldron of Shreveport; his mother, Laura B. Hubier of Shreveport;
one sister, Eloise H. Slay of Minden; 12 grandchildren; seven
great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
