Mrs. Laverna Langford Hubier

  Services for Mrs. Laverna Langford Hubier, 96, were held at 10
a.m., Tuesday, August 22, 1995, at Rose-Neath's Marshall Street
Chapel, Shreveport.

  Officiating was the Rev. Grayson B. Watson, pastor of Noel
Memorial United Methodist Church. Burial was at Forest Park
Cemetery.

  Mrs. Hubier died Friday, August 18, 1995, at IHS Pierremont
Heritage Manor Nursing Home. She was a native of Ranger, Texas,
and a former resident of Converse.

  Mrs. Hubier had lived in Shreveport most of her life, and was a
retired seamstress for J. C. Penney Co. She was a member of Noel
Memorial United Methodist Church.

  Survivors include one son, Bob G. Hubier and his wife Jamie of
Shreveport; one sister, Fannie Lou Lum of Converse; three
grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and a number of nieces
and nephews.
