All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** ** Monroe Irl Hubbard Monroe Irl Hubbard, 53, of Zwolle, was the victim of an apparent heart attack on Sunday, May 7, while visiting at a relative's home in Jena. He died at 2 a.m., in the LaSalle Hospital in Jena. Mr. Hubbard is survived by his widow, Shirley Hubbard of Zwolle; one daughter, Kathy Hubbard of Zwolle; three sons, Dwaine Hubbard, and James Hubbard, both of Natchitoches, and Dennis Hubbard of Zwolle; one brother, Edward R. Hubbard of Prescott, Ark.; and his mother, Mrs. Rubye Hubbard of Prescott, Ark. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m., Monday, May 8, at the First Baptist Church of Zwolle. The Rev. Lee Dickson officiated. Burial was in the Beulah Cemetery at Trout, near Jena, with the Kinner and Stevens Funeral Home of Jena in charge of arrangements. Mr. Hubbard was a native of Prescott, Ark., where he was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Prescott. A veteran of World War II, he had been employed as a forester with International Paper Co., for the past 25 years. He was actively involved with the Boy Scouts of America.
