All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** ** June Evelyn Havard Services for Mrs. June Evelyn Havard, 71, of Monroe, were held at 1 p.m., Friday, April 25, at First United Methodist Church in Monroe, with the Rev. Terry Love, and the Rev. Larry Stafford officiating. Graveside services followed on Saturday, April 26, in Livingston, Texas. Mrs. Havard died Wednesday, April 23, at Glenwood Regional Medical Center. A former resident of Zwolle, she was currently a resident of St. Joseph's Home, and had resided in Monroe for the past 15 years. Born August 9, 1931 in Manning, Texas, Mrs. Havard was preceded in death by her parents, Needham Byron Weatherford and Lela Thompson Weatherford; brothers, Alexander Weatherford, and Needham Weatherford; and her husband, Robert Foster Havard. She is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Dr. Bonita and Ken Dyess of Monroe, Junie and Richard Jamison of Dothan, Alabama, and Karin and Craig Ebarb of Jasper, Texas; three grandsons, Charles Havard Jamison, and John Robert Jamison of Denver, Colorado, and Roger Craig Ebarb Jr. of Henderson, Nevada; two granddaughters, Mary Kathryn Ebarb of Jasper, and Eleanor Jane Dyess of Monroe; and one special niece, Vickie Sue Paulsey of Diboll, Texas. Pallbearers were her sons-in-law and grandsons. Honorary pallbearers were Ray Paulsey, Steven Paulsey, David Barnes, Asper Antoon, Will Dark, Monte Chapman, Brian Crawford, and Drs. Don Hammett, Ron Hammett, John Ledbetter, Sid Bailey, and Greg Green. Special thanks to the staff of Christus St. Joseph's Skilled Care Unit, and Glenwood Oncology Unit.
