E. J. House, Jr.

  E. J. Houst Jr., 57, died in a Shreveport hospital, Monday
night, Dec. 30.

  Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, Jan. 1, in
the Colonial Chapel of Sullivan Funeral Home, with the Rev.
Walter Barnard officiating. Burial was in the Colonial Gardens
Cemetery.

  Survivors include his widow; one daughter, Mrs. Phillis Hoozer
of Marshall; one son, John E. House of Dell City, Okla.; two
sisters, Mrs. Walter Bernard of Jonesville, and Mrs. Wilbur
Joiner of Notasulga, Ala.; two brothers, Lewis House of
Tallassee, Ala., and Jack House of Fisher, and one granddaughter.
