The Sabine Index - Mrs. Leona Hayes

  27 Jul 1951 - Funeral rites for Mrs. Leona Hayes, 76, who
passed away at the home of her daughter at Fisher Thursday of
last week were conducted at Beulah church near Marthaville 2 p.m.
Saturday by Rev. Dan Jones, pastor of Fisher Baptist church,
assisted by Emory Lewis of Marthaville. Interment was under the
direction of Warren funeral home.

  Surviving relatives include: sons, Sexton, J. C. and Lois
Hayes, all of Marthaville and Lee Hayes, Beaumont, Texas;
daughter, Mrs Nelson Owens, Fisher; sister, Mrs. Lavada Knott,
Noble; 14 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
