Katherine Celina Hays

  Katherine Celina Hays, 74, of Hornbeck, died in the Kurthwood
Manor Nursing Home in Leesville, March 12, at 7 a.m.

  Survivors include her daughter, Mrs. Murlene Huffpauir of Lake
Charles; four sisters, Mrs. Ollie Whatley, Hornbeck, Mrs. Clara
Briggs of Many, and Mrs. Lillie Cobb, and Mrs. Rhoda Norsworth,
both of Shreveport; 3 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held at the Oak Grove Baptist Church,
Monday, March 14, at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Roy Dowden
officiating. Interment was in the Oak Grove Baptist Church
Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.
