Rufus George Hayes

  Rufus George Hayes, 78, of Many, died May 11, 1984, at 10:45.

  Funeral services were held at the Warren Meadows Funeral Home
Chapel, Sunday, May 13, at 2 p.m., with the Rev. Earl Marr
officiating. Interment was in the Warren Cemetery, under the
direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Gyneth Hayes of Many; three
brothers, Jeff Hayes, and Sam Hayes of Many, and Theodore Hayes
of Beaumont, La.; five sisters, Delila Blackman of Vidor, Tex.,
Katy Oxley, Grace Blackman, Rozena Bell, and Edna McComic of
Many; and a host of nieces and nephews.
