Hayes Funeral services for Mr. Carroll D. Hayes, 69, of Fisher, were held March 7, 1966. He was honored with an Order of Eastern Star, and Masonic services the evening before, at the Welsh Funeral Home, with Rev. Gary Rayburn officiating. Burial was in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Mr. Hayes died March 6, 1996, at his residence in Baton Rouge. He was a member of Don Avenue Baptist Church, Masonic Lodge #297 F and AM, 32 degree Mason, Shriner Acacia Temple, O.E.S. Mystic Star Chapter #108, Disabled American Veterans, and K.A.M.F.E.G. He is survived by daughter, Joy Lynn Kilroy of Knoxville, Tenn.; son Donald H. Morgan of Niceville, Fla.; sister, Evelyn H. Pringle of Alexandria, La.; two brothers, Richard A. Hayes of Houston, Tex., and Dave B. Hayes of Conroe, Tex.; two grandchildren, Kelly Hayes Kilroy, and Donnie Morgan; two great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by wife Lois W. Hayes; parents, Edward M. and Thelma L. Hayes; two brothers, Edward M. Hayes Jr., and Charles R. Hayes. Pallbearers were John E. Pringle, James R. Pringle, Lyle Pringle, Lane H. Pringle, Kelly Hayes Kilroy, and Donnie Morgan.
