Interment was at Liberty Hill Cemetery in San Augustine County, Tex., with Rev. Victor Pope officiating. Mr. Houck passed away in Many on May 13, 1996. He was born in Shreveport on February 15, 1940. He retired from the Navy after 20 years of service, and was a Lab Supervisor at the Sabine Medical Center in Many. He is survived by his wife, Sheila Houck of Hemphill; one son, Chris Houck of Hemphill; three daughters, Lisa Cole of Lake Charles, Coleen Houck, and Lydia Houck, both of Mesa, Arizona; three grandchildren, Mathew Houck, Leah Carlin, and Mariah Carlin; two brothers, Jimmy Frazier, and Joey Frazier of La.; three sisters, Betty Bird, Melba Gibson, and Linda Cooper, all of Shreveport.
