Hogg, 74, of Many, died Saturday, Nov. 21, at his residence. Mr. Hogg was a former resident of Alexandria, and was a resident of Many for 20 years. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m., Monday, Nov. 23, at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel in Many. The Rev. Kenneth Leach, pastor of Beulah Baptist Church in Many, officiated. Interment will follow at 2:30 p.m., at Old Glenmora Cemetery in Glenmora. Survivors include his widow, Donnie Sue Gassiott Hogg of Many; one son, Bert Hogg and wife Rebecca of Ruston; one stepson, DeWayne F. Hall of Houma; one daughter, Gail Hogg Ducote of Livingston; two stepdaughters, Laura Vidrine and husband Kelly of Many, and April Ramsey and husband Glen of McComb, Miss.; five sisters, Dora Evelyn Vanderford of Pollock, Lynn Feltner and husband Kurt of Laramie, Wyo., Patricia Beebe of Alexandria, Shirley Walters of Lynchburg, Va., and Kathleen Woodiwiss of Cheneyville; two brothers, Charles W. Hogg Jr. and wife Betty of Baton Rouge, and Dr. William E. Hogg M.D. and wife Mildred of Dallas, Texas; 10 grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. Mr. Hogg was preceded in death by his parents, Charles W. and Gladys C. Hogg. Pallbearers were Jonathan Coats, Kelly Vidrine, Glen Ramsey, DeWayne Hall, Bert Hogg, and Tink Ross.
