Funeral services were held Saturday, Feb. 10, in the Church of Latter Day Saints, with Elder Michael Slay, Elder Charles Cagle, and Elder Glen Hardy officiating. Burial was in the Many Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home of Many. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Mack Hayes of Many; three sons, Mack Hayes Jr., and W. E. Hayes, both of Many, and James Hayes of Zwolle; one daughter, Mrs. Ralph Bush of Opelousas; one brother, Floyd Hayes of Robeline; four half brothers, George Farrar of Sulphur, Walker Farrar of Gladewater, Tex., T. W. Farrar of Shreveport, and L. W. Farrar of Purvis, Miss.; and two sisters, Mrs. Mary Farrar of Many, and Mrs. Viola Hodges of Bossier City.
