Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Floyd Hays of Robeline; one son, J. L. Hays of Shreveport; one daughter, Mrs. Clyde Nugent of Welch; four brothers, G. M. Farrar of Sulphur, L. A. Farrar of Purvis, Miss., T. W. Farrar of Shreveport, and W. L. Farrar of Gladewater, Tex.; two sisters, Mrs. B. F. Farrar of Many, Mrs. C. S. Hodges of Bossier City; six grandchildren; and one great grandchild. Funeral services were held Sunday, Nov. 19, in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, with Bishop Fred Wagley, Elder Glen Hardy, and elder Mack Hayes Jr. officiating. Burial was in the Many Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Ralph Bush, Donald Farrar, Herman Primm, Wilburn Farrar, Ronnie French, Charles Hodges, and Frank Dew. Honorary pallbearer was Randy Hays.
