  Funeral services for James Lee Hayes, 71, of Shreveport, were
held Tuesday, March 25, at 10 a.m., in the Warren Meadows Funeral
Home Chapel. The Rev. Mike Henderson, and the Rev. Bobby Russell
officiated. Burial followed in the Fisher Cemetery.

  Mr. Hayes died on March 22, at Garden Park Nursing Home.

  He was born June 29, 1931, in Fisher, to Zarah and John Lee
Hayes.

  Mr. Hayes is survived by his wife, Kirby Hayes of Shreveport; a
son, Ricky Hayes of Shreveport; his mother, Zarah Hayes of
Mansfield; three sisters, Theda Mitchell and husband Joe of
Mansfield, Sue Ashby and husband Jim of Blanchard, and Lolette
Allen and husband Ted of Robeline; and a host of nieces, nephews,
and friends.

  Mr. Hayes fought a hard battle with Alzheimer's Disease.

  The family would like to give special thanks to Odyssey Hospice,
and Garden Park Nursing Home employees.
