John M. Hicks

  Funeral services for John M. Hicks, 79, who died at Shreveport
Wednesday, Sept. 19, were conducted at Spring Ridge Baptist
Church at 2 p.m., Friday, Sept. 21, with Rev. Ben Worley
officiating. Interment was in Spring Ridge Cemetery, under the
direction of Warren Funeral Home.

  Survivors are his sons, Andy, and John M. Hicks of Shreveport,
Hilden, and Earvin Hicks, both of Pioneer, Lloyd Hicks, Tallulah;
daughters, Mrs. Della Barrow of Converse, Mrs. Jewell Denton of
Monroe, Mrs. Louise Craig of Shreveport, Mrs. Willie K. Davis of
Marthaville, Mrs. Eva Graves of Bastrop; and 42 grandchildren.
