The Sabine Index - Mose N. Hughes

  7 Oct 1938 - Mose N. Hughes, died at his home in Carmenia at
10 a.m. September 21 after an illness of several weeks.
Deceased was 91 years of age and had spent most of his life
in Vernon Parish moving to Carmenia in recent years.

  Deceased in survived by the following:  Mrs. Joe McNeely,
Carmenia, Mrs. Bunie Eaves, Leesville, Mrs. J. C. May,
Leesville, Mrs. J. M. McNeely, Toro, and Mrs. W. H. Peace,
Carmenia.

  Funeral services were held Thursday, September 22nd at 9:00
a.m. at Pisgah Baptist church with interment in the Pisgah
cemetery.  Rev. W. B. Huntsberry officiating.
