  Helen Hightower - December 13, 1973

  Mrs. Helen Williams Hightower, 63, 9f Many, died Thursday, Nov.
29, in Confederate Memorial Hospital following a short illness.

  Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 2 at the New
Jerusalem Baptist Church, with the Rev. Loyd Davis officiating.
Burial was in the New Jerusalem Cemetery under the direction of
Winnfield Funeral Home of Mansfield.

  Survivors are two daughters Miss Janis Hightower of Many and
Mrs. Barbara Lilly of Dallas; one son, Odis Lee Hightower of
California; one brother, Crit Williams of Florien; two sisters,
Mrs. Iberia Barret of Many and Mrs. Annie Bee Conerly of Florien.
