All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** ** Mary Lee Mains Hogan Funeral services for Mary Lee Mains Hogan, 79, a native of Many, and a longtime resident of Lake Charles, were held Friday, August 9, 1996, at 2 p.m., at Mt. Freedom Baptist Church. Interment was at Mt. Freedom Cemetery, under the direction of Les Fontaine Funeral Home. Mrs. Hogan passed away Tuesday, August 6, in a local hospital. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church since 1948. She graduated from Many High School, and was a registered nurse, who practiced in New Iberia in the 1940's. Survivors are her husband, Lawrence Patrick Hogan; three children, Lawrence Lee Hogan, Patrick Brian Hogan of Lake Charles, and Ann Clair Hawkins of Westlake; two brothers, and three sisters, Evie Hillman, Elzie Mains, and Selma Goodwin, all of Many, Verda Carroll of Lakewood, Calif., and Hubert Mains of New Iberia; and six grandchildren. Pallbearers were Walter Mains, Donald Scaife, Doyle Scaife, Charles Mains, Marty Mains, Freeman Mains, and Jimmy Lee Mains. Honorary pallbearer was Edwin Lites.
