Virgil Hesser

  Virgil Hesser of Pelican, died in the Riverside Chateau Nursing
Home in Natchitoches, on Saturday, Oct. 31, at 7:05 p.m.,
following an extended illness. He was 70.

  Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Grace Elliott of Robeline; two
nieces; and nine great nieces and nephews.

  Funeral services were held at the St. Mary's Catholic Church on
Tuesday, Nov. 3, at 10 a.m. Father Yves Robbitaille officiating.
Burial was in the St. Mary's Cemetery, under the direction of the
Warren Meadows Funeral Home.
