Mrs. Alta M. Hood

  Funeral services for Mrs. Alta Mason Hood, 60, of Ontario, Calif.,
were held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, Nov. 8, in the Hixson Funeral Home
of Leesville, with the Rev. V. L. Prewitt officiating. Burial was in
the Kay Cemetery.

  Survivors are a son, Homer Alwyn Mason of Ontario, Calif.; a brother,
the Rev. Homer Burr of Shreveport; four sisters, Mrs. Ellie Edward of
Leesville, Mrs. Mamie Gunther of Lansbury, Mich., Mrs. Vivian Harris
of Bridge City, Tex., and mrs. Ky;e Cato of Zwolle; and three
grandchildren.
