Hyatt, age 54, of Lake Charles, La., were held at 2 p.m., Sunday, June 21, at Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was held in the Highland Memory Gardens, under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home. Mr. Hyatt died at 9:35 p.m., on June 18, in a local hospital. Mr. Hyatt was a native of Florien, and lived in Lake Charles for the past 35 years. He worked at Dimmick Supply for the past 35 years. He also served as outside salesman at the time of his death. Mr. Hyatt was a member, and a deacon of First Baptist Church in Lake Charles. He is survived by his wife, Lila Hyatt of Lake Charles, La.; one son, Ricki Hyatt of Lake Charles, La.; two daughters, Vicki Stutes of Lake Charles, La., Teri Hardy of Nashville, Tenn.; two sisters, Patsy Horton, Anacoco, La.; two grandchildren; and his parents, Horace and Katy Hyatt of Florien, La. Special requests are for donations to be sent to American Cancer Society for the Calcasieu Unit.
