Mrs. Elma Hewitt

  Funeral services for Mrs. Elma Martin Hewitt, 61, of Hornbeck,
Louisiana, were held at 4 p.m., Aug. 6, in the First Baptist
Church in Hornbeck, with the Rev. Dan Robertson officiating.
Burial was in the Oak Grove Cemetery, under the direction of the
Hixson Funeral Home of Leesville.

  Mrs. Hewitt, a retired Civil Service worker, died about 6:30
a.m., Aug. 4, at her home in Hornbeck.

  Survivors are one daughter, Mrs. Nelda Self of Hornbeck; one
son, Shelton Hewitt of Morgan City; two sisters, Mrs. Johnny
Errington of Port Arthur, Tex., and Mrs. LeRoy Bedair of Groves,
Tex.; three brothers, Allison R. Martin of El Segundo, Calif.,
Allen Martin of Port Neches, Tex., and Donald Martin of Big
Springs, Tex.; seven grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
