All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** ** Mary Ann Heath Mary Ann Heath, age 76, of the Aimwell Community on Toledo Bend Lake, passed away Tuesday, February 18, 2003, after a lengthy illness. She served in the Armed Forces as a Naval Flight Nurse. She continued her career as a Registered Nurse, working at Willis Knighton North in the recovery room, until the mid 70's. It was her wish that her remains be donated to LSU School of Medicine for upcoming medical students. Survivors include her husband of 51 years, Elton (Don) Heath; two sons, Russell Heath and wife Carolyn of Springridge, Jimmy Heath and wife Bettye of Center Point; two daughters, Bobby, Sauce of Bweaer, Maine, and Kathye Phillips and husband Park of Ruston; 11 grandchildren; and six great grandchildren. The family would like to express special thanks to the personnel of Caddo Fire Dist. 4, Balentine Ambulance, Dr. James Smith, Dr. David Green, Dr. Paul (Corkey) Davis, and the nursing staff of Highland Hospital. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Louisiana Make A Wish Foundation.
