All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** ** Vilous Nathan Hodge Vilous Nathan Hodge, 65, of Many, died in Highland Hospital in Shreveport, Wednesday, Sept. 10, at 3:30 p.m., following a lengthy illness. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Lillian Hodge of Many; one daughter, Geneva Porter of Fort Jesup; one son, Vernon Hodge of Many; three brothers, R. H. Hodge of Baton Rouge, Otis Hodge of Waco, Tex., and Ted Hodge of Many; a half sister, Annie Clark of Hemphill, Tex.; and one granddaughter. Funeral services were held at the Fort Jesup Baptist Church, Friday, Sept. 12, at 2 p.m., with the Rev. Arthur Haymon officiating. Burial was in the Fort Jesup Cemetery, under the direction of the Warren Meadows Funeral Home.
