Hodges, 68, of DeRidder, were held at 2 p.m., Saturday, November 28, at Hixson Funeral Home Chapel. Officiating was the Rev. Al Gist, and Rev. Dennis LaFleur. Burial was held in Rosepine Cemetery. Mr. Hodges died Thursday, November 26, at 2 a.m., in Veterans Hospital in Shreveport. Mr. Hodges was a member of Cypress Creek Baptist Church, served in World War II, the European Theatre, Germany, and the Rhineland. He was a mechanic, and a resident of the DeRidder area since 1977. He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Glenda Gale Perkins of Rosepine, Mrs. Barbara Mason of Toledo Bend, and Mrs. Serreda Wakefield of Jasper; one brother, Mr. A. J. Lantrip of Dora; four sisters, Mrs. Mattie Morgan of Sumiton, Mrs. Juanita Key of Arley, Mrs. Josephine Combus of Dora, and Mrs. Geneva Hill of Jasper; six grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
