Ebb Hudson

  Mr. Ebb Hudson, 63, of Florien, died in La Marque, Tex., on
Thursday, June 1, at 11 a.m., following an extended illness.

  Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Doris Hudson of Florien; three
daughters, Mrs. Sandra Mertins, and Mrs. Sheryl Long, both of
Houston, Tex., and Mrs. Kerry Cardwell of Dallas, Tex.; four
brothers, Gibson L. Hudson of Houston, Tex., John R. Hudson of La
Marque, Tex., Dr. George C. Hudson of Corpus Christi, Tex., and
Harold Hudson of Austin, Tex.; and five grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held at the Florien Baptist Church on
Saturday, June 3, at 1 p.m. Officiating were the Rev. Jack Comer,
and the Rev. Delmar Rogers, Burial was in the Florien Cemetery,
under the direction of the Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Pallbearers were Elwood Cude, Jim Shofner, Reginald Turner,
Leroy Washburn, Gene Sanders, and Sid Lucius.
