Hudson, 76, of Monroe, were held at 10 a.m., Thursday, August 15, at the Mulhearn Funeral Home Chapel on Sterlington Road, in Monroe. Don Glover officiated. Burial was at Memorial Park Cemetery in Monroe. Mr. Hudson died Tuesday, August 13, 1985, at St. Frances Medical Center in Monroe, after a long illness. He was a native of Grace, La., and had been a resident of Monroe for the past 44 years. Mr. Hudson was the retired owner and operator of a service station in Monroe, and was a member of the Forsythe Avenue Church of Christ. He was a veteran of World War II. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Louise Usrey Hudson of Monroe; one daughter, Sandra Hernandez of Baton Rouge, La.; two brothers, Wesley Hudson of Minden, La., and Malvin Hudson of Morgan City, La.; three sisters, Mrs. Allen Ratcliff of Noble, La., Mrs. Marvin Hendrix of Sterlington, La., and Mrs. Joe Dillon of Temple, Texas; and two grandchildren.
