Hudson, 61, of Elm Grove, were held at 1 p.m., Monday, July 30, at Rose-Neath's Southside Chapel, with the Rev. C. E. "Skip" Rainholt, pastor of Faith Fellowship Church, officiating. Burial followed at Forest Park Cemetery. Mrs. Hudson, a homemaker, passed away Friday, July 27, at 7:20 p.m., at Schumpert Medical Center, following a short illness. A native of Leesville, she had been a resident of Elm Grove for the past 20 years. She was Non-Denominational, a member of the American Kennel Club, the AARP, and was an avid racing fan at Louisiana Downs. She was preceded in death by her mother, Nellie M. Hampton; one sister, Emma White; and one great grandson, James Edward. Mrs. Hudson is survived by her husband, Jack J. Hudson of Elm Grove; one son, Clyde H. Landry, Sgt., USAF, Tacoma, Washington; three daughters, Wanda Smith of Keithville, Brenda Noland of Baton Rouge, and Georgia Fisher of Chapel Hill, Tennessee; one sister, Rose Hart of Converse; three brothers, Harvie G. Hampton of Shreveport, Wade E. Hampton of Keithville, and John S. Hampton of Springfield, Missouri; six grandchildren; and one great grandchild. Pallbearers were Gregory Hudson, Jeffery Hudson, David Martin, Carl Bailery, Alan Hampton, and Randy Rachal.
