All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** ** The Sabine Index Louise Inzer Hudgins - May 5, 1988 Funeral services for Mrs. Louise Inzer Hudgins, 71, of Monroe were held at 2 p.m. Friday, April 29 at the Mulhearn Funeral Home Chapel in Monroe. The Rev. Dwight Ramsey officiated, with burial following at the Riverview Cemetery in Monroe. Mrs. Hudgins died Wednesday, April 27 at her residence following a lengthy illness. She was a native of Reader, Ark. and had been a Monroe resident for the past 24 years. She was a registered nurse and had also received a certificate in Public Health. Mrs. Hudgins was an active member of the St. Paul United Methodist Church. She was listed as a U.M.W. Woman of the Year in 1987. Preceding her in death was her husband, Ansell T. Hudgins. She is survived by three brothers, Rev. LaVern Inzer of Nevada, Eugene G. Inzer of Vidor, Tex., and Grady U. Inzer of Longview, Tex.; three sisters, Mrs. Nelma Lee Powell of Vallejo, Calif., Mrs. Loma I. Marr of Many and Mrs. Nellie Mae Savage of Walnut Ridge, Ark.; four nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Dr. Alton Irwin, Jim Watson, Wayne Inzer, Ferrell Marr, Carroll Marr and Ken Inzer. The family requests that memorial donations be made to the Cancer Society.
