Officiating was the Rev. Jerry Penfield, pastor, with interment following in Clyde Cemetery. Mrs. Hatcher died October 11, 2001, in Houston, Texas. Mrs. Hatcher taught English at Zwolle High School for 25 years. She was a native, and resident of Zwolle. Mrs. Hatcher was a member of Zwolle First Baptist Church, and was a Librarian there for over 27 years. Mrs. Hatcher was preceded in death by her husband, William Barnette Hatcher; parents, Malcolm Greame, and Laura Lee Pearce; and a brother, Keith Pearce. Survivors include her son, William Madison Hatcher and wife Carol of Waller, Texas; daughter, Frances Lee McTigret and husband Doyle of Houston, Texas; grandson, William Cedric Hatcher and wife Sherri; granddaughters Stephanie and Tricia McTigrit; four great grandchildren; two brothers, Gary Pearce, Michael Pearce and wife JoAnn; four sisters, Velma Lewis Kate Flammang, Nonnette McFerrin and husband Milton, Glenda Jacobs and husband Max; and sister-in-law, Ann Pearce.
