Hodnett Funeral services for Mr. Claude E. Hodnett, 75, of Anacoco, will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, April 16, 1997, at Crystal Springs Baptist Church in Anacoco. The Revs. James Glass, and Wayne Squires will officiate. Burial will be in the Mitchell Cemetery, with Masonic Graveside services, under the direction of Beauregard-Vernon Funeral Home. Mr. Hodnett was a lifetime resident of the Anacoco-Hornbeck area. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, having served in World War II, was a member of Crystal Springs Baptist Church, a member of Orange Masonic Lodge #319, and had retired from Fort Polk, as an inspector for the U.S. Army Corp. of Engineers. He is survived by one son, Mike Hodnett of Anacoco; one brother, Buster Hodnett of Houma; two sisters, Lois Farrow of Baton Rouge, and Helen Reed of Midland, Texas; and two grandchildren, Christy Hodnett, and Renee Jackson. He is preceded in death by his wife, Katherine Hodnett; and son, Donald Hodnett.
