Marguerite Hawthrone

  Mrs. Marguerite Hawthrone, 47, of Anacoco, died Tuesday,
Oct. 17, at 2:45 p.m., after an extended illness.

  Funeral services will be held today, at 10 a.m., in the
Anacoco First Baptist Church, with the Rev. Alvin Strother,
the Rev. Willis Greer, and the Rev. Floyd Haymon officiating.
Burial was in the Mitchell Cemetery, under the direction of
Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  She is survived by her husband, Cyril Hawthrone of
Anacoco; two sons, Jim Hawthrone of Shreveport, and Gary
Hawthrone of Anacoco, and one daughter, Mrs. Jackie Martin
of Anacoco.

  Her body was taken to Anacoco First Baptist Church,
Wednesday, at 1 p.m., to lie in state until service time
Thursday.

  Pallbearers were Jack Martin, Raymond Martin, Mickey
Goins, Luther Marrs, Harvey Marcus, and Mike Smith.
