"Pee Wee" Hall (Photo) Services for Mr. Ray D. "Pee Wee" Hall, 65, of Shreveport, were held at 2:30 p.m., Tuesday, May 21, at Rose-Neath's Marshall Street Chapel. The Rev. Claude Spearman, evangelist, officiated, assisted by Dr. Roger Freeman, pastor of Trinity Heights Baptist Church. Burial was at Centuries Memorial Park. Mr. Hall went to be with the Lord at 12:55 p.m., Sunday, May 19, 1985, after a lengthy illness. He was born in Pleasant Hill, La., and had lived in Shreveport most of his life. Mr. Hall was retired as supervisor for South Central Bell, and was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America, Life Member Club, President of the Telephone Pioneers of America, Life Member Club, 1977-1978, and was Life Member Pioneer of the Year for 1977-1978. He was a member of Trinity Heights Baptist Church, the Pastor's Sunday School Class, and the Board of Directors of the Claude Spearman Evangelistic Association, Inc. Mr. Hall served in the U. S. Navy Sea Bees during World War II. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Doylene "Dolly" Hall of Shreveport; a daughter and son-in-law, Ann and Roy Evans, and a grandson, Patrick Evans of Nederland, Texas; and a number of other relatives. Pallbearers were Steve Stephens, R. B. Staggs, Calvin Tulloh, Ron Owens, Morris Dozier, and John Haygood. Honorary pallbearers were Garnett Selby, J. V. Stamper, Harry Davis, and the Telephone Pioneers Life Member Club.
