Hall, 67, of Many, were held Tuesday, June 9, at 2 p.m., at Many United Pentecostal Church. Rev. C. J. Walea, pastor of the church, officiated, assisted by Rev. James Stringer. Burial was in Fort Jesup Cemetery. Mr. Hall died Sunday, June 7, 1987, at Willis Knighton Hospital, following a lengthy illness. A native of Victoria, La., he had been a resident of Many for 20 years. He was a retired Planer Mill foreman, and superintendent, having worked for Mansfield Hardwood Lumber Co. of Zwolle, Matthews Lumber Co. of Mansfield, 4-L Lumber Co. of Fisher, and La. Pacific of Carthage, Tex. He was a World War II veteran, having served in the U. S. Navy, aboard the Walter X. Young, in the Marshall Islands, with the rank of Motor Machinist 3rd class. He loved the Many United Pentecostal Church, where he was a member of long standing. He is survived by his wife, Eula Bryant Hall; one daughter, Barbara Ebarb of Ft. Jesup; one grandchild, Robbi Patterson of Victoria, Tex.; a sister, Evie Forbis of Many; and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by five brothers. Pallbearers were Kenneth Hall, Ernest Hall Jr., Cecil Hall, Howard Hall, Douglas Hall, and R. C. Hall. Honorary pallbearers were Roland Carter, Midford Burr, Bill Bugg, and Billy C. White.
