Walter Stephen Haley

  Funeral services for Mr. Walter Stephen Haley of Lumi, Tex.,
were held Tuesday, Sept. 22, at 1 p.m., at Union Baptist Church
of Belmont.

  The Reverend Johnny Garrett officiated. Burial was at the
Belmont Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral
Home.

  Mr. Haley died Sunday, Sept. 20, at Beaumont Medical and
Surgical Hospital in Beaumont.

  Survivors are his wife, Hazel Haley of Lumberton; two sisters,
Irma McCormick of Zwolle, and Katie Haley of Belmont; one
brother, Rudolph Haley of Belmont.

  Pallbearers were Thomas Lester, Lavergne Haley, Wayne Skinner,
Guy Brown, Worth Lester, Phillip Haley, Greyland Davis, and Allen
Matheny.
