Funeral services were held at the residence of Mrs. Mae Parker at Vowells Mill, Nov. 17, with the Rev. Billy Nosler officiating. Burial was in the Becky Murry Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home of Many. Surviving relatives include her husband, Charlie Howell of Vowells Mill; six sons, Johnson, Fisher, Elbert, and J. L. Howell, all of Vowells Mill, Ernest Howell of Bloomington, Tex., and Jessie Howell of Houston; four daughters, Mrs. Mae Parker, and Mrs. Belle Craig of Vowells Mill, Joyce Howell of Houston, and Bernice Chism, all of Houston; five brothers, Ivy, Newton, Freeborn, and John Holland, all of Vowells Mill, and George Holland of Beaumont, Tex.; four sisters, Exie Foshee of Provencal, Bessie Foshee of Vowells Mill, and Necie Foshee, also of Vowells Mill, and Emma Polke of Bellwood; 17 grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.
