T. E. Howell

  T. E. Howell, 72, of Robeline, died Saturday, March 4, in Many,
after a short illness.

  Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Audrey Howell of Robeline; five
sons, Jack Howell of Davenport, Fla., Fred Howell of Ocean
Springs, Miss., Thomas Howell of Shreveport, William C. Howell of
Austin, Tex., and Byron Howell of Robeline; four daughters, Mrs.
Jessie White of Tatum, Tex., Mrs. Joy Thomasee of Natchitoches,
Mrs. Lena O'Banion of Fisher, and Maura Lee Howell of Monroe; two
sisters, Mrs. Clemmie Tilton of Shreveport, and Mrs. Nannie
McDwain of Columbia; 34 grandchildren; and 14 great
grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held in Hargis Baptist Church, Monday,
March 6, with the Rev. John Kellog, and the Rev. Green
officiating. Burial was under the direction of Warren Meadows
Funeral Home of Many.
