The Sabine Index - Ira B. Halbrook

  8 Feb 1957 - Last rites for Ira B. Halbrook, 74, who died
Saturday, Feb. 2, was conducted at 11 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 3, at
Pisgah Baptist church with Rev. W. T. Love, officiating.
Interment was in church cemetery under the direction of Warren
Funeral Home.

  Mr. Holbrook in his earlier life was a sawyer, a successful man
in business. He had lots of friends every where he ever lived. At
the time of his death he lived on his farm where he had retired
from business many years before. He was born Aug. 25, 1882. His
wife, Mrs. Sara Halbrooks preceded him in death nearly seven
years. Her earthly tour ended on June 7, 1950.

  Survivors are sons, Paul and Ira B. Holbrook, Jr., sister, Miss
Martie Halbrook, Jr., sister, Miss Martie Holbrook of Clovis,
Calif., and a host of friends and relatives.
